Hey all,
Doing the preliminary research for a high-end system I'm building for a relative. Stability and features (plus Core 2 support) is more important than tweaking. So while expensive, my first choice for mainboard is the Intel "Bad Axe" D975XBXLKR.
I can buy it retail, or OEM.
Retail
OEM
Other than the fancy packaging, the model number is the same, so is the warranty. Does anyone know if there are accessories/features removed by Intel from the OEM version? I'll gladly buy OEM, provided they didn't strip anything, and save the money. It may not seem like much, but 20 bucks is 20 bucks when you're helping out family.
