Intel Audio Studio on a 82G965 chipset

From looking at reviews and documentation I am supposed to have the option of Dolby Digital Live and many other options but when I open the Intel Audio Studio software the only options I get are "Inactive" and "PCM Stereo". Is this a chipset problem or is there some software update I can install? I've had alot of trouble trying to find troublshooting information on the software so this is a last resort :)

Also, after I set the digital output to PCM Stereo I hear audio but everytime I reboot it resets itself to inactive. Even after saving.
 
Anyone? The audio sounds like crap coming from this Intel crap software and it supposed to be "HD"
