Who takes advantage of Intel AMT/MEI? Last time I looked into it, all I could find was the ability to remote in via IP to a specific PC to look at basic settings. Now there is an Open Manageability Developer Tool Kit available that seems to have a few more things.

Does anyone use these tools or other Intel AMT tools? If so, what can you do with them?

seems really limited to only certain hardware...

i had a hard time finding stuff that was AMT compatible...

waiting for something like this to become more mainstream....

Pretty much everything that uses Intel Q-chipsets supports AMT.

I use AMT, but have no knowledge of any toolkit/programming.

Feature wise, once it is set up, it's like iLO, iKVM, etc.
You can mount .ISO/.IMG image files ..power on/off ... full BIOS control..etc.
VNC Viewer+ is used for remoting/control.

If you have any experience using VMware's vSphere Client or Citrix XenCenter ...
similar use/feel ... just dealing with a single console.
