Well I have a current system (see sig) and I need a server (linux) so I’m going to build another system. I was wondering if anyone has had similar setups. Are the differences in speed that huge? I would like to know so I can chose the slower system as server and the other as my game/work rig. Also I will be overclocking the XP.

New System:

Corsair XMS EE 2700 512x2 C2 (2.5-3-3-6)

Pent IV 2.53GHz @ 2,8GHz - FSB 533MHz
Kingtson 1066MHz (256mbx4)
