Decent for a single card especially once the openGL ICD Wrapper came along. BUMP

Nice heatsink. How fast were these back in the day?

Slightly slower to moderately faster than a 3dfx Voodoo Graphics in D3D, depending on title. I remember the i740 having especially good image and filter quality for the time compared to the competition (aside from 3dfx and later Matrox G200/400 cards). For anything else you were better off using a 3dfx accelerator.

Bump for a nice piece of nostalgia.

I think this would bottleneck my rig too much :( GLWS!

Look at that powa. Look at that beautiful classic.

Holy high gamma value, Batman! I never did try the GL wrapper. It's kind of the inverse of Riva 128/128ZX cards where it's so dark it feels like you're looking at your monitor with sunglasses on. These kind of issues are one of the things I don't miss from that era of computing.

I have an older AGP system with an Nvidia card that's already faster. But if it didn't have a card, this would fit the bill nicely. Free bump!
