Intel 7 920 OC

Grab some new thermal grease as well. Some will probably come with the cooler, but you may want to buy something a little better. There is more threads for you too look though now...:D

Some very nice and savvy people on these forums, so it's a great place to learn and ask questions.
 
The cooler i'm gonna buy,is Noctua NH-U12P SE2 ,so i hope with this one i will be able to OC about to 3,8 Ghz.
But i think it's better if a open a new thread,about.

If i OC to 3,6 or 3,8 Ghz ,you think it's gonna increase the performance,on gaming ?
My graphic card is GTX 285,and a lot of people said that the card is pulled down by the cpu,stock ...
 
I could not say without having that video card, but if your new cooler is accomodating, why not. I see people on the EVGA forums claiming 4.2 - 4.4 OC on that CPU.


Of course you can't believe everything posted in a forum............uh, except here.
