I have the option of picking one up for 20 bux off my local c-list. Is this stepping worth anything for overclocking?

This is an Intel® Pentium® 4 670 at 3.8GHz with an N0 stepping. It is hot running processor that it is possible with a good board you might be able to get a small overclock out of with good cooling. While you can do a BLCK overclocking on it I would say that you would still be outperformed by a Intel Core 2 Duo running at 2.00+ GHz.

Thought about getting it and tryn for a nice core speed for my hwbot account :p

Its a 90nm Prescott. A 65nm Cedar Mill will clock better.
And unless you are using extreme cooling, you likely wouldnt see over 5Ghz.
