What are the overclocks people seem to be getting on the 630's? I plan on getting a good heatsink, leaning towards a Zalman I think, and want to get the most overclock I can. Would I least be able to hit 3.6 to 3.8 on air?
 
You should be able to hit 4 or more, 3.6 or 3.8 is something i would expect from a 3.0C :p
 
yeah you'll definitely get what you want. E0 prescotts (5x0J's and 6xx's) are typically good for 4.0-4.2ghz on air, more with water. My 560J is running 4.1ghz on the stock cooler.
 
I'm getting about 3.68 ghz stable, 3.72 decent stable (like maybe 2 hrs, haha). but that's due to stupid RAM problems and my heatsink is stock that's horribly placed (thermal compound is bad). You should hit around 4ghz with no issues if you've got the RAM and Board that will allow it =D.

Are you gonna fix the HSF? It may let you stay stable @ 3.72... or maybe even a different HSF..
 
lol, i'm using soem masscool crap (it's basicaly a stock fan), but i hate those clips for LGA775, one of my clips are half broken. It's amazing that it's still even locking into the board. So I'm laying my comp down on it's side and letting the weight of the heatsink hold it in tighter. I'm afraid the heatsink just won't clip back on the next time i try to put the thing back on. once i get a replaecment, i'll fix it. =)
