Intel 1156 cooler suggestions

I am currently running an intel i5 750 with a Corsair H50 cooler inside a Fractal Design R3 case. The H50 is set as intake, with exhaust out the top. However, several factors have got me thinking that, since I'm not actually over clocking the CPU, having the H50 is overkill - getting rid of it will enable me to simplify things a little, and possibly reduce noise levels a bit. So what I'm looking for are suggestions for an 1156 cooler that cools well and is quiet. I'm not fussed about over clocking, so maybe a return to the stock cooler would be ok? I've read that the Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo is quite good and reasonably quiet at stock CPU speeds, so that may be another option.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave.

212 or A70 are great coolers. I was using 212 for the longest time w/ no OC. Kept things nice and cool :)

Thanks for the feedback. I now have a 212 Evo installed, and stock temps are good, about the same as the H50 was giving me. However, he noise level has gone down, as I've removed the fan that was exhausting out he top and sealed off the hole, and put that back as rear exhaust, meaning that he Scythe Gentle Typhoon has been removed, dropping noise levels further - it used to make a bit of a whining noise, so I'm glad it's gone. Not sure if I'll over clock it yet, may just stay stock for now...

I have the same cooler, the stock fan is not very quiet, I replaced it with a 130mm I had around that does 19dba with over 88cfm, temps never breach 42c on load.

That being said, I run a quiet rig, so airflow is not as good as some peoples that don't mind the noise.
