I installed Yahoo messenger and I unclicked the stuff I did not want it to install. But now when I right click in Internet Explorer, it shows a lot of new yahoo options like "add this page to my yahoo bookmarks."

Can I get rid of it without uninstalling the messenger?

Nope. Gonna have to reformat.

If you want a second opinion, you might try General Software or Operating Systems... ;)

have you tried add/remove programs? but what i really want to know is why are you useing IE and not firefox?

the custom installation is your friend.

here's to paying attention to what it says next to those cute little checkboxes.

Um.. I did. It still put this stuff there. I said so in the original statement.

Installing the Yahoo bookmaks is not a default option.

Uninstall and try again...you won't lose your contact list.
