ok, I get to the setup but thar's this thang goin on where it can't access the HD. I read that you sometimes have to install a device driver, but this mobo didn't come with a floppy disk. Do I need to install the motherboard drivers first? or...is something possibly wrong with the harddrive

If it's a SATA drive, then yes you will need the drivers on a floppy. The CD that came with the mobo will have a folder called "boot" or something. Copy the files to the floppy, then boot from the XP CD. When it starts loading stuff in the begining, press F6. Follow the menus and you'll be set.

Well nevermind that hard drive was a not working pos but thanx anyways.
