I've been putting off reformatting for a while now and figured hey, why not just upgrade to an SSD too and save some time.

Is installing windows onto an SSD the same as a regular hard drive?

I just plug it in and then set bios to "boot from usb flash drive" where the windows install is and just let it go?

Installing Win 7 on an SSD is just like installing it on an HDD -- you do not need to do anything differently.

Installing win7 from a USB drive takes less than 15 minutes. Any time spent making the bootable USB is made up for while installing. Its crazy fast.
And no. Insert thumbdrive, boot thumbdrive, install windows. That simple.
