Ok, so i have an interesting question for anyone out there, and i have no idea where the best forum to put it was... so here goes:

I have a 512MB thumb drive for my pc... I want to install my favorite editor/compiler on it (crimson editor with borland compiler)... In the process of setting up the editor to compile using BCC it asks me for a path to the bcc32.exe (compiler executable)... it seems to be looking for an exact path as that is what comes back when i use the explorer that pops up with it... i'd like to make it a relative path though (as my thumb drive will show up as a different letter depending on what pc it's plugged into at the time)... anyone know how i might go about doing this?

Also it says i need to update the path environment variable... is there a way around this? as that is also unique depending on where i'm logged in...

here is the location that BCC is installed for easier reference...

<letterdrive>\Borland\BCC5\bcc32.exe

any help is appreciated greatly.
