I am somewhat confused about SATA drives as I have never used one before. I am ordering a new computer with a WD 120GB 7200RPM SATA (OEM) and a MSI NForce3 250 K8N Neo Platinum Motherboard. So basically I'm wondering if it will install fine with the motherboard or are there other things I have to get so it will work. I'm just overall confused and if anyone could shed some light I would greatly appreciate it.

If you treat the SATA drive like a SCSI drive then you should not have any problems.
Start with only the drive you want Windozes on attached.
Start to install Windozes and see if it can find your drive.
If it can then just install Windozes normaly.
If it cannot then restart and this time hit F6 when it says to.
Put the SATA driver disk into your floppy drive and continue to follow the on screen instructions to install them.
Once you have Windozes up and running add your other [H]arddrives.
If after that it fails to boot check your boot order is correct in your bios.

You will probably only see a difference in the benchmarks.
In real life apps the difference should not be noticable.
They could be the same mecanical drive parts with just different motherboards to change the connector type.
As for the electrical connector.
My Raptors have both Sata & Molex connectors on them.
So I just use theSata as my PSU has that type.
Or if only Sata connector then just get a Molex to Sata converter.
