is it easy? I got a Zalman 7000 AlCu and i didnt personally install the processor/hsf my friend did while i was wiring stuff to the other side of mobo... so i dunno how to take off HSF or put on the new zalman. Is it easy for a newbie ( i have put on amd processors/hsf but never an intel)
 
It's very easy with the 7000alcu, you just need to remove the old heatsink, clean off a bit the cpu, put paste and then install the Zalman onto the intel bracket.

did u read what i posted above? I Dont know how to take it off and i dont know what the setup of the whole hsf looks like, I DIDNT INSTALL IT MYSELF so i dont know, i have only installed AMD's and i wanna know what it looks like b4 i try to take it off, any tutorials/pics for INSTALLING a STOCK hsf?
 
The diffrence between putting on an Intel or AMD hsf is very minimal, you should have no problem with it.
