Installed cpu fan wrong

I installed my new arctic freezer pro 7 with the fan facing the wrong way in my case. Do I need to reapply thermal compound when I take it off or can I just change it without reapplying since there is compound that came applied on the heatsink when I got it?
 
You should be fine with just turning it around. I don't think the pre-applied paste would have cured yet.
 
if you powered your computer on, you need to re apply it. it doesnt cure fully for a while but after 5 seconds it will have already melted.
 
you should not have a problem... i didn't.. but i don't want a lawsuit if it doesn't work out for you.

All you really need is a THIN layer of goo there... the factory stuff is designed to melt + most of it squeezes out the sides, but there will still be a thin layer there... that should be good enough.
