And it was/is a pain in the ass. First off, the 6.11 drivers will NOT work. When I try and install them, it fails saying that my hardware is not supported...ok. So I installed the 6.10 drivers that came with the card, and it works...sort of. If I try and run HL2, the game crashes and locks the system down. Can't even ctrl+alt+del out of it, has to be reset. On the plus side, I was able to run 3Dmark05, and got 12,000+ points. Better than my 7950gx2 in multi-monitor mode, and nearly as good as it in SLI. I like that, but this DX9 crash is really pissing me off. I looked at the log file from the crash, it's a DX9 DLL error. I get it even after upgrading the DX from Microshaft. I guess I'll troubleshoot it some more when I get home. I left it (Hopefully) folding away on the GPU, so we'll see how it does. I've been getting loads of tiny WU's the last few days, I got 4 today that were under 100pts. Some were under 10. Odd that.

I'm under the impression that all GPU WUs were 330 points, at least all of mine have been (X1950Pro folding since Dec. 26th) Your card may not be stable, that might explain the problems in game and (possible) early unit ends.

No no. None of those are GPU WU's. Those are all from the CPU client. I JUST installed the GPU, no WU's done on it yet.

Check your FAHlog.txt file.
There are no work units of less than 10 points out at the moment.
Sounds like the CPU folding is early ending as well.

Luck ....................... :D

Yup, looks like I got a rogue boxen...

actually.... there seems to be a problem with the 3302 proteins.... there's a "my box is exploding!?" thread that talks a little more about it...... Probably nothing wrong with the boxen, just a bad protein....

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

Actually, now that I look back, every single box that has run:

p3302_ribcompHT

Has ended early, with the same message, but ONLY that p3302. Some finish, one exploded at 99 and some are exploding around 10. Looks like an error with the data, or it's hitting the result way early.
