Is there a way to install WindowsXP over a network?

I need to reinstall for my old computer which only has a floppy and a network card. I own two copies of XP Home.
 
In order to do a network installation, you will need Windows Server 2000/2003.
 
Not true.

A RIS Server will do it, and you can run RIS on Server 2003 as well :D
 
Or a dos boot disk that puts you on the network, with a copy of the i386 directory on a network share.

To install this way, the drive must be initially formatted as FAT32.
 
Or a Network Ghost Server, works great for mid to large sized LAN's where the computers are all the same configuration.

Yea I made a whole automated disc to do an install like this awhile back. 2 Months latter, a whole lot of code and it was done. You know how often I use it? Never. heh

It was more hasel than it was worth. Now I just use an automated CD (not HAL dependant) with a USB2.0 CDRW drive. Quick and easy.
