I have an Asus A7N8X mobo and the usb driver recently became corrupt. The driver is on the XP-SP1 cd..is there anyway to pull the driver off the disk without reinstalling windows? I have tried pointing the driver installer at the disk and it said it couldn't be found. I am assuming the driver is compressed. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jason

go to asus's website and get the drivers, or if you can't find them try to just remove the device and then reboot and it should auto reinstall them

Tried that. I couldn't find them available on the site. Also tried nvidia's website since this is an nforce2 board. I downloaded the driver update and it said the USB 2.0 drivers are included with XP SP1. When I remove the device, it just asks for the driver disk. I point it at the XP CD and it says the driver is not found.

Thanks,
Jason
