Install older Office Assistants?

Hope someone can help. I've recently installed Microsoft Office XP Pro on my home computer. I upgraded from Office 97 because I could get the newer version cheaply through a Home Use Program licence and find it significantly easier to use.

Unfortunately, my wife 'misses' the Powerpup Office Assistant that was present on the older version (!). Is it at all possible to load him into the new version?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. am aware there is a doggy Assistant in the new version, but..."he isn't as cute as Powerpup"!!!

It doesn't appear as though it is. From a look at the 2 installers, the GUIDs (Globally Uniqiue Identifiers) are different between the old and new version. This would suggest to me that the APIs they are using to load the Assistants have differing parameters.

I didn't know anyone used the Office Assistant.
