I've Googled for about ten minutes, but I can't find anything concrete. Can Office XP be installed onto a Mac no problem?

If you're dual booting windows with bootcamp or running a virtual instance of windows through parallels or fusion then yes. Otherwise you need office 04 or 08 for mac.

You should consider using Office 2008 or iWork. While you can use Office XP under Parallels, VMWare Fusion, Boot Camp, or Crossover, a native solution is just happier - unless you really need one particular feature of Office XP.
