Instability with AMD system, please help

So basically i'm trying to get my system stable and i keep getting BSODs and wondering if there's something i'm doing wrong and someone could help me.

This is my system:

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 3.8Ghz with a CoolerMaster V6 with 2x 2000rpm/ 90cfm fans + MX-2
Asus M4A87TD/USB3.0 mobo
Corsair XMS3 1600 @ 1800 9-9-9-24
Sapphire 5850
Seasonic 620w PSU
CM 690 casing
Sound Blaster Audigy Value
D-Link DWA-525 WLAN card

Coud anyone share some tips? Current Vcore hovers between 1.38 and 1.42v.
What voltages should i be giving the NB and if anyone can explain about the HT-link speeds and so on. I'm not too knowledgeable on what my settings should be for these parameters.

Lower your RAM speed (below 1600 mhz). Get it stable first, then try to overclock the RAM.

Don't mess with the HT-link speeds. Adjust the multiplier so that it is at/below 2000 mhz. You don't need anything more than 2000 mhz for HT anyways.

The only other voltage you really should be touching besides the CPU is the CPU/NB voltage. What is your NB frequency at?
 
Thanks for the reply... My CPU/NB speed is 1890 and voltage stock at 1.15

HT Link speed is on auto...

Could it be a driver issue? Since one of the BSODs i get is the Driver IRQL one.... The audigy perhaps?
 
Reset everything to stock. That should determine whether or not your BSOD's are due to driver problems. If it BSOD's at stock settings, then it's a driver issue. If it doesn't, then it's your overclock.

HT Link speed is always less than CPU/NB speed, so you should be fine there.
 
I don't blue screen at stock... But then the voltages are on auto and it tends to give it alot of voltage...
 
That is due to turbo-core kicking in. Don't worry about it. Disable turbo-core.

You may or may not be hitting an FSB barrier with that board. Set all your multipliers really low (like x4 or x8), and see how far you can push the FSB without causing your system to crash.
 
Btw these are somewhat infrequent... I can boot up and all. And i have run prime as well so thats why i thought it wasn't the cpu/ board... Could it still be a FSB wall?
 
Ok, so i ran Prime blend test with the RAM at 1440, still blue screened after about 20 mins. Guess it might be to do with the CPU/NB voltages. I'm gonna try upping that a bit and seeing how it fares.
 
I would lower everything to the point where it is stable and then start testing to make things stable when you gradually increase the clock. Not jump right to 3.8Ghz and expect it to work.
