Inspiron 9300 Delay

I called Dell up because my laptop ( 9300 ) had not changed status since I bought it on Friday, April 15. It turns out there was some part shortage that delayed all 9300's, according to the customer service woman I talked to today. She said the estimated shipping date should still be correct.
 
Part shortage? Did you get told what part it was, I'm a bit curious. I ordered my 9300 on 4/13, it shipped yesterday, got it today.
 
I didn't ask, but I would guess something motherboard related, the mobo is the one part you can't upgrade ( i think )? I also ordered one on the 13th, but cancelled to save a few bucks and upgrade HD, screen+cd drive. I could call back, so if I do that, I will post whatever they say. UPDATE: the second person i talked to today denied any part order delaying shipment lol. oh well, i have plenty of time to wait.
 
weird, i ordered mine on the 13ths and it just came in 2 seconds ago
it was scheduled for yesterday, but UPS couldnt delvier on time ^_^
