difference between the 8mb buffer of a IDE hard drive and a SATA that is 20 dollars more?

Do you really need a floppy drive?

I'd suggest Corsair, Kingston, or Crucial RAM instead of Kingmax.

That power supply could use a few more watts, get at least a 400 for an A64 setup. That power supply also puts out a few less amps than would be recommended for your system.

Everything else looks good.

just go with ide, no big difference and an easier setup. get a floppy drive, its cheap anyway and you'll find that you'll need it every once and a while, especially with drivers such as sata.

350W is plenty for that setup, however if you plan on adding anything (like a 12V water pump) you may want to look at getting something bigger. I wouldn't bother with a floppy drive, but that's your choice. And I'd look at some different RAM, Kingston and Corsair are good brands. Proc and motherboard look great though.
