Too bad SanDisk are low quality, but hey, if they work, they work.

Yeah, sandisk makes crap, thats why they are the market leader

Market leader in some hardware... but for many users of PPC's they are crap! So you are warned...

Just like Microsoft? Wal-mart?

Being "market leader" doesn't mean you have the best products.
It only means more people buy your product than anyone else's.

In my experience SanDisk make the worst SecureDigital cards on the market.

OH MY GOD thank you for saying that.

i dont know what site it was.. but they did a comparo on all the cards.. sandisk cards were the slowest almost every time.

Just about anyone makes more reliable stuff than SanDisk. I know of at least one PocketPC manufacturer (Toshiba) that will not support SanDisk cards due to inordinately high failure rates. I've been using PNY stuff myself, and not only has it never given me a problem, but you can often find it even cheaper than that (Staples runs rebates on PNY flash on a fairly regular basis.)

Crucial, Lexar, Toshiba, Panasonic SD and CF cards are the best... prices are king of steep but they are going down. More $$ is better for quality in SD.

I think they make good CF cards though.. I've never had a problem with them , dunno about SD though..

ah well.
