Its not true btx because its for AMD, and while one motherboard maker has been able to make a btx board (forgot who, it was a preproduction that I saw with a intresting layout). AMD and btx dont get along very because of the built in memory controllers requirements for equal length paths (or something along the lines)

I would say it is not BTX, because it is not low profile, but it has the principle of the standard, which is straight through cooling.

Ya it's a cool design. They had it on one of their previous models. I think about that design every time I have to work with this ARIA! What a PITA.
 
What i mean is very hard to make a BTX amd board all this case dose is barrow one element of the BTW design.

...and everything else about it, most especially GPU cooling, is far worse than an SN25P. If you can put a 7800 in an SN25P, but can't but a 6800GT in this thing, then it is near worthless. If I were going to use it for some budget system, I'd just use a cheaper system, and if I can't put a real GPU in it, then it's worthless for everything else.

The definition of BTX in that link is wrong. BTX doesn't have to be low profile.

The only thing that defines wether something is BTX or not is wether it meets the official BTX specifications (which you can find at www.formfactors.org). Since the Biostar uses propreitory mobo specs its not BTX.
