Innovatek V6 block?

I was wondering if this block is just a novelty or if it actually performs just like the xx-flow? They both use the same design apparently but I am not sure if the the LED's and v6 is really worth the extra 40 bucks.

All stateside block aside, does anyone here have the v6 that can say how it does compared to say the xx-flow or koolance?

Novelty, in my opinion
You pay $100 for what? Some pretty lights? A am sure Swiftech Storm/AquaXtreme MP-05 LE Pro/SP can either match it's performance or beat it. But let's say that block does out perform the Storm/AX. However, it can't outperform those blocks by much because you can get as cool as the ambient temperature. Thus, that block really is not worth the cost imo

I wouldn't say it's too great. Not only is it more expensive than a storm, or even a Cuplex XT, it doesn't come with a retention module. That costs about another 30 bucks, making the expensive block even more expensive.

I'd think it's more for the bling than the performance.

Looks to have cost about $25 to manufacture. A real steal at $97.

Well, huge markups are just part of the costs. There's R&D.

A Game CD costs under a dollar to make. Then there's the cost of the programming, profits, research, development, testing, etc. That's why it costs $50.

And Everything in the industry is like that. Computer chips are made from silicone, which is made from sand. Highly refined sand, but still sand. Motherboards, just a few layers of a resin, with a tiny amount of solder.

there's more to the cost of an item than just the cost of manufacturing.
