I've got this problem that I'm hoping someone can give me insight into.
450 watt generic "Mustang" PSU that came with case
Shuttle AN35N-Ultra nForce 2 400
AMD 3000+ Barton 400 fsb
2x512 kingston valueram ddr333
ati 9800 pro
The problem I am having is that I cannot set the cpu at 200 fsb in the bios. I can't even set it at 133 fsb, the computer will just reboot over and over again. At 100fsb, the computer boots with a warning that says the cpu setting needs to be adjusted. It will run longer but still reboot itself after a while. The ram is configurable on its own and set at 133 fsb and I don't think that its the problem.
Temperature of the cpu hovers around 43C and the voltage seems right at 1.65V.
I've tried clearing the CMOS, loading defaults in BIOS, stripping everything but the cpu, ram, vid card.
any ideas?
