Lowes has the General Tools & Instruments Infrared Thermometer for $9.98. Free pickup in stores.

I picked one up and it works great. Credit to XPL051v3 on SD.

This showed up as $9.98, I put in my zip code to find one local, and the price went up to $19.98

I saw the SD post earlier this afternoon. Ordered one for use in the kitchen for checking cast iron, teflon, griddle, oven, grill, oil, and water temperatures. Basically anything that isn't stainless steel, which is too reflective. Great deal. The $40 Harbor Freight one occasionally drops to $20-30, but this is the best deal I've seen on an infrared thermometer.
