Infrared sensor assembly for a mod?

Has anyone ever seen an infrared sensor assembly for sale that would basically be the same kind of thing that they put in those automatic faucets? Preferably, the amount of time that the "faucet" would stay on would be adjustable. I don't want to have to buy a faucet and take it apart, just to get the electro-guts out of it and I figure that someone has to make something similar that isn't already in a faucet.
