My system specs are

Asus P5WDG2 WS PRO
intel E6600
Corsair TWINX PRO Dual Channel 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz
Silverstone Zeus 850W power supply
WD raptor 150
Windows XP professional SP2
Nvidia geforce 8800 GTS
Soundblaster X-Fi fatality audio card

I play games online like everquest , dark age of camelot and WoW. But i am not happy with the performance. The games are choppy has hell especially dark age of camelot , when i turn around it freezes for like 2 seconds =/ or sometimes after i notice that when i zone in certain areas i can not see some of the characters , they dissapear from the screen and i have to relog into the game in order for them to show up =/ Im really not impressed by my geforce 8800 GTS and it seems that my radeon 850XT performs better.
I dont get it , i have good specs but the machine is not performing well.

Any help will be greatly appreciated thx.
 
Are you completely patched with all windows update etc. You should not be getting shabby performance out of that rig. Daoc should play lighting fast, its an old game. Do you have drivers for your monitor and other hardware.
