so is the dts-610 available on the market yet? i would really like to see if this thing offers any improvement at all. and i'll save other members on this forum the trouble, just incase this thing does suck
 
I didn't even know they were coming out with a new one! Whats the difference between this and the DTS-100?
 
DTS-610 is not an upgrade to DDTS-100.
They are two differnt products and have a different purpose. The 610 is to connect your PC to your hometheater. DDTS 100 Sends a digital decoder that will decode the DTS and Dolby Digital signals form your computer and output it properly to your analog surround 5.1 or 7.1 speakers. I think 610 is available right now.
