So, I got my Infinity in today, but I'm not sure if the cooler is gonna clear the caps just above the cpu socket. Can anyone else with a ds3+ infinity help me out with this?

EDIT: OK, so I got it on there, cleared everything, it was a pain in the ass getting in on and secure, had to remove my ram, video card and everything. Now my question is, how should i mount the fan? should It blow air onto it so my rear case fan will take the air off?
alright so,

___________
|psu |
|^(CPU) |
|^ exhaust |
| | 80mm intake
___________|80mm intake

no worries, have this setup already. Your good to go!

So, how about I figure it would be a good idea to remove the mobo tray and install it the scythe right? Well, After I got everything all in there and all, I discovered that it was too tall for it to slide back into the case    Had to remove it, put the tray in, remove my ram and everything again, and then remove my psu in order to get the damned thing back in there. spent a good hour, but when I booted my system up I was AMAZED. Idling at at 29-32, its bouncing around, but I'm already oced at 2.4ghz so this is awesome. I think I might have put a little too much as5 on there, I checked and it was kinda touching the little cpu holder a little. Anyways, I started running ORTHOS, and full load is only 40C  I'm very happy that I got this, I fully reccomend this to everyone!

Question: I have a case fan and a 40mm fan. They both use 3 pin connectors but the DS3 only has 2 connectors. One for the cpu, and the other for the sys fan. I bought a 40mm fan for my northbridge. Both of these fans have 3 wires, so I'm wondering what do I do with the yellow wire when I mod it to a molex connector?

nothing! the yellow wire is for RPM monitoring :)

Ok so, this causes a new problem, the fan spins too fast. I actually have a rheostat, and I tried using it, but it still moved to fast in order for me to use it, so my northbridge is getting around 60c, and is actually warming up my cpu a little.

Pics! ( Excuse the shitty camera)

Northbridge is DAMN tight in there

Even tighter is my ram to the scythe's fan.
