Started my search this morning on google and landed on

Ok so I did the search here for infiniband under network and read up a bit but still confused...
lets start out saying that I have my current 1g network as..
so Comcast line in, into a Aaris SB6183 then out into a NetGear Night Hawk x4s. to which one port goes into a Dell Powerconnect 2724 - 24 port 1g.
Internet speedtest on 1g PC I get 275mb down and 12mb up but on cell phone (note 8 ) I get 299mb down and 12mb up..hah...
I have lines running around to various pc and it works fine. I get ok speeds...
I do have 2 VM servers ( Dell D30 and HP Z800) and want to go 10G.
I was just given 2 x FLEXTRONICS F-X430066

I also have cables for the infiniband as well so that is also a nice benefit.
so since I have most of the hardware it makes sense to get some infiniband cards.
looking at that switch specs it states..
This 8 port SDR switch delivers bandwidth of up to 160 Gb/sec with sub 180ns latency.
Could one assume that means 8 ports x 20g each = 160gb?
so I have the switch so don't need dual cards...
what single cards would be best for me? 20g/40g cards?
lookin for input. I will check the cables I have later tonight and post the specs as I'm not sure if they also will change the speed?
I have 5 physical PC's I would like to get onto this network then curious do I just run the 1g nic on a different network to get back out to the internet or is there a way for me to use the 2 x shared SFP on the Dell into this switch so they can all play happy?
just thinking and looking for someone to cleanup some of this dust and crud in my head!
