Well, for christmas i got together a bunch of money and built myself a new computer. It is very secksi :) but some things wrong. When I try to play the Max Payne 2 it just shits the bed. It restarts. My friends gave my 3 possible problems so far, 1. Power supply 2. Memory 3. Ventalation. I dont thinks its over heating becasue its has fans up the yingbob. So can any one help? :confused:

If you can i'll give you snuggles :D
 
run a memtest overnight see if u have any memory problems...

and i want my snuggle... :)
 
Give specs on your computer....MB, CPU, HSF, PSU....... Usually games will reset if there is a temp problem, psu problem....How hot is it running? It does not matter if it has lots of fans...
 
Well I found out what's wrong. The power in my house is the sux. Its 30 years old. I know this is the problem because at my friends LAN, Max Payne 2 worked just fine and thats with 3 other comps on the same fuse. So, leaving out redoing the power in the entire house, what should i do?
 
btw mine barely works with my electronics b/c my house is 50years old and liek the whole hous eis on 1 fuse...but the living room is ona diff one...and my lan room which we added has a seperate one which has mega power

imagine 10 outlets in a small room...
 
Are you sure this will work for the problem im having? they will prevent me from running out of power because my house is old as fuck? sorry im just REALLY skeptical after all the things that happened to my while building this comp.
