Indeo codec window thing not going away

I keep getting this window popping up. How do I get rid of this? or where can I download the driver/codec that won't cost me $14 I dunno wtf is going on with this?

The program you are trying to run requires a current Indeo codec.
To obtain a current driver that is compatible with this version of Windows, please contact the manufacturer at http://indeo.ligos.com.
 
Sounds like a scam, update and run your mal-ware removal program (such as Adaware). Indeo (unless I've confused it with another simularly named codec) is given away for free by Intel, and should come with Windows.
 
its not malware.

you could always download the k-lite codec pack.

but, i remember that i download the codec from that webpage for free...

MS removed the Indeo codecs with the release of SP1.
