Currently running an Asus Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 with an FX 8320. PSU is a Corsair AX750

My sensors readings from Hwmonitor are very inconsistant. For example, I'll put stress on my CPU with F@H, my vcore will be steady at 1.488v...i'll go to sleep and wake up to see the vcore has spiked to 1.62v and is steadily at 1.54v. Theres no indications in temperature to show this is the case. My temperatures are in line and have basically flatlined at what i feel is acceptable for my 4.6GHz overclock.
I've seen my core temps spike up to 192c which is obviously a faulty reading.
My 3.3v, 5v, and 12v readings are all below their respected values. These values are only low when using cable extendeders on the ATX and 8pin plugs. So that's probably another faulty reading.
How likely is it that the vcore reading is just another false reading. My vcore is on manual mode set to 1.475v with LLC on ultra high. If I pickup a DMM how do I go about monitoring vcore? It would be for an extended period of time so I don't want to hold probes up to leads for 5 hours you know.

What other monitoring tools do you have open with AI Suite? Using CPU-Z, AIDA, HWinfo etc with AI Suite causes misreads due to contention at the super IO chip.

Yeah, OP wouldn't be the first to complain about mysteriously spiking up/down voltage readings via software tools. I have no idea how to use a dmm to manually probe cpu voltage ... don't slip haha.

I had AI suite completly disabled at the time I believe. Mabye I had opened it before hand and a service was possably running in the background. I'll F@H overnight again and see if it happens. And I'll pick up a dmm and find out what the true values are.

As of the past 2 hours my Vcore has been at a flatline of 1.488v. Hopefully it'll maintain overnight.

On 890/990fx Chipset the vCORe works in a ranged type of deal so 1.488v can vary up or down depending on the amt of juice the CPU is calling for. Is F@H is like a 100% load app?? All that means then is that the CPU is adjusting the power:load ratio. Check for "load/line" calibrators in the BIOS if that behavior worries you. Seems normal and I'd even offer a small bit of advice: If you're seeing variances of that much vCORE you may be under-powering the socket for the chores it's doing. Check the settings up top, but remember that you may become unstable with your current voltages. Off seems to eliminate the symptom at the cost of less reliability at "manual settings".
