In need of help

I had a aorus z370 but it decided to not work anymore and now I need a new motherboard. I have a intel i7 8700 and a rx580 8gb so I need something that’s compatible with these components. I saw that I should look at b360 z370 or any 200/300 series but idk anything about motherboards so I’m in need of help . Mind you I have a budget of 130€ .
 
I would check on local trading sites, people are always selling that older stuff for pretty cheap. Its not really worth buying new. For a non-K 8700 there shouldn't be a problem no matter what board you get.

Are you positive its the board though? What kind of troubleshooting have you done?

Yea I’m 100% positive . I’ve took it to a local pc service shop and they checked it and told me that there was a electrical problem that killed it and they tried to run it but it always went into a protective block mode or something like this idk … So I’ll just get another motherboard, the thing I don’t want to risk it with the secondhand motherboard..

Something like ebay new old stock is your only real option then, you're not going to find much and a lot of it will be as expensive as just buying a new platform.

I would not be picky on what make or model board in your case, just get whatever works and fits your budget. Good luck.

Check retailers, but, you will be lucky to find one at the price you want. I had a recent need to replace a z390 and went through the same issue - new stock retail availability is limited and expensive.

Ebay an option for you? If so, there are numerous recyclers who specialize in reconditioning used equipment. They clean and test the parts and offer a warranty for around 30 days. Ebay offers returns, too, for another level of protection. I've picked up lots of MB's and CPU combos this way. GPU's, PSU's, HD's, etc. All kinds of parts. I replaced my z390 MB in May for $100 shipped.

EBay is an option but mind you I’m in Europe , so it’s a bit harder to find these things . I found one but I just want to see if I have other options

Yea I know but I had to come here just to see what kind of motherboard is fitting this setup that’s all. I know it’s smaller but I’m skeptical Bcs of the position of the gpu since the rx580 I got is a bit bigger . Thanks anyway !

you still are not listing what case you have? you do realize that a matx board sits at the same position a atx board does, right? its just shorter. the only slot on this board will sit in the same spot as the top slot on your old board.
regardless of that, if you want appropriate suggestions, you need to provide more details...
ps: i guess the eruo symbol should have been a clue as to location, i just saw 130...

You are completely right , my bad. I don’t know a lot about pc components and stuff ... The thing is I don’t know what case I have… but you are making a lot of sense so I’ll probably buy the one you said . Thanks a lot , I hope I didn’t get you pissed of or annoyed as much !

One small thing , don’t get pissed off ahahahah . Can a ssd fit on this Asrock Bcs it doesn’t seem to have a place where it should be screwed on . Thanks and sorry for being this dumb ahahah

Yea I found a guy on eBay that sells it with warranty and stuff for 100 bucks so I think I’ll get it . Really appreciate the help , this whole community is great , very helpful and very fast responding . Thank you so much !
