is there such a thing as an in-line surge supressor?? Like one that will do a whole circuit or like more than one?? it doesn't have to have UPS capabilities but that wouldn't be out of the question I guess....

Yes, I do believe there are whole circuit and whole house surge protectors. Try googling whole house surge supression
