In-line audio volume control

I need something to control the volume on my PC when in games so I don't have to alt-tab out. Is there something that I can just plug into my sound card with a volume control and a jack for my headphones?

I tried searching newegg but didn't find anything, probably because I don't know what something like this is even called.

I need something cheap and simple, I don't care to have to set something up beyond plugging it in if I don't have to.

I guess you could sell your soundcard and get an external headphone DAC/amp.
 
Most keyboards have vol +/- controls that can raise and lower Windows main volume if that's what you're looking for?

Hmm, that would work, didn't think about that. Those keyboards can be pricey though.

I have a Koss VC-20, about $10 on eBay and the input cord is about long enough to reach to the back of a PC. I prefer a proper analog volume control over software controls.

So I went out and bought a really nice Logitech keyboard that has audio control buttons on it. An inline control would have been nice like what was linked above, but I needed a new keyboard and I don't mind having the button on my keyboard...I actually think I like this set up better.

Either way, thanks for the suggestions and I can't believe that I didn't think of a keyboard with audio controls on it in the first place!

This keyboard is so much more quiet then the TAP TAP TAP of my old one!
