IMPORTANT!! Serial monitor CAT5 cabling question

Ok, I have an IBM RS6000 server that I can't get logged into.

I have the CRT monitor that was connected to it, but they connect through serial ports.

Actually, it's a Serial to RJ-45 connector (like is used for logging into routers through console).

I need to know how wire my CAT5 (assuming that's the kind of cable I use) between to the 2 systems.

Which do I need:
pass through cable A: (Wo, O, Wb, G, Wg, B, Wbr, Br) B: (Wo, O, Wb, G, Wg, B, Wbr, Br)
Crossover cable A: (Wo, O, Wb, G, Wg, B, Wbr, Br) B: (Wb, B, Wo , Wg, O, Wbr, Br)
Rollover cable: A: (Wo, O, Wb, G, Wg, B, Wbr, Br) B: (Br, Wbr, B, Wg, G, Wb, O, Wo)

or something else?

(and mods, please do not try to move this to networking, this is a display issue regardless of the use of CAT5)

bump!

surely someone's messed with old terminal systems.

that's my assumption.

the monitor that this server used had no inputs for a keyboard like the other dummy terminals....it used the PS2 keyboard and mouse from the server (or so I assume).

2 Serial ports (1 9 pin, 1 25 pin) & an AUX connector

I'll take a look; thanks for the link!
