iMovie Windows alternative

Hi, at my work place we use apple laptops and we were currently tasked with using iMove to make a video. I would like to be able to work at it at home, but I run Windows XP. I was wondering if there is a program for Windows XP that is completely compatible with iMovie so that I can work on it at work, then bring it home and work on it here and the bring it back to work and work on it there. Thanks.
