Images getting converted to thumbnails

Not sure if this is even a bug or what... but I can't seem to link back to images from my host site. Everything I hotlink gets converted to an attachment and turned into a thumbnail instead.

Instead of a full sized image, I get this when embedded:

Same behavior with FF and Chrome. Am I going crazy? Been posting images here for a while now... never seen this happen before.
