This usually happens to me after I edit a post. If I add an image in while editing, even if the IMG tags are in place, it will not show up. And sometimes, if I just edit text in the post and leave the picture alone, they will not show up.

My guess is that it has something to do with the new quick edit feature.

Well, I feel better that two admins and DeadlyAura are experiencing the same problems :). Weird though .

vBulletin seems to do this sometimes if a URL is abnormal... I've never been quite able to pin it down and never have really been bothered enough to fix it. My guess is it's the double slash inside the URL that causes it, or perhaps the combination of that and the %20 (space in the filename).

Oh and FYI, you can use the [plain][plain][/plain][/plain] tags if you ever want to tell vBulletin not to parse bbcode and display it instead. Anything inside the NOPARSE tags will show up as you typed it. :)

I've had the filename issue cause me problems in the past but even recent pics that I have uploaded with standard filenames (bob.jpg) cause the issue :(.

Thanks, that's a good bit of info to have :), now all I have to do is remember it :p.
