Setting it up for my friend's little sister.
OSX okay for it? It now has 320MB ram.

It'll be fine. I have an iMac 266 with - gasp! - 192mb of ram, and it's been running pre-release Tiger for months now. Granted, there's no eye candy, and it can run Safari and iTunes - and nothing else - at once, but it's been stable and very usable. You'll be just fine, don't expect much gloss.

well the ram will be bottlenecked by the processor, based on my knowledge, 512mb will give you the best, w/o trying to bottleneck this is on a G3 500, so you might even go lower, but hey, if you can afford the extra ram, do so, just be wary that a 266 will be bottlenecked

d00d you should totally just add a sonet peripheral component interconnect card so you can have the power of grey skull aka dual g4 processors, it will bump up the jiggabits on that thing to like 2GHz np.
