imac 24" getting very hot

I have a 24" imac, the new one, and it gets very hot at the top. Is that normal?

FYI, the CPU is located in the lower half of the iMac.

Yeah, thats normal. The iMac isn't really that well designed IMO, it might be very thin but Apple never really thought about cooling it.
