So i keep getting all these good ideas to do to my case...hehe. So the plan so far: Add 2 92mm Exhuast to the top, next paint the entire interrior a flat black, the add LEDs under the MB. Then eventurally i would like to get a seasonic 600w with sleeved black cables. so whatcha think. i am open to any creative sugestions so please gimme your opinons. thanks. BTW i will post pics when im done...i have finals this week so i wont start untill next weekend.

Flat black would look like crap in my opinion. Every speck of dust is gonna show, and flat black is near impossible to wipe clean.

I would go with a bright color, like white or something. Maybe even gray would look good. Flat black would be the very last color I would choose.

Thats a good point, my other option that i thought of what a bright yellow to complement the DFI board. I also have 3 coolermaster blue LED fans. Yellow and blue always looks good. What color LEDs would look the best in your opinon? White or Blue?

So im thinking a nice glossy black all the way through with somthing like 10-15 LEDs from under the board and PSU/DVDRW area aswell. how is that sounding? now i just need to get the cables out of the way....yay

Instead of one solid color inside the case, try a two tone paintjob on the inside. I haven't seen many cases like that. Good luck with your mod spree!

i was thinking about that.maybe the accual case a yellow. and the cages in a black color. I need more ideas with LEDs tho....hmm maybe a set of cathods too i dont know i need some more ideas

That would be pretty cool, I would have the interior blue with black drive cages, with blue and white led's beneath the mobo, that would look pretty tight.

Ok this is my plan so far. Adding 2 92mm blowholes, Painting the entire interrior a flat black. I ordered 25 Blue Leds and 10 UV Leds ( and i get 2 free blue ones and 2 free UV ones). I will have 15 under the board, 3 UV behind the HDD cage, 5 UV in the cross bar and 4 at the bottom of the case. so that leaves me with 12 blue ones left,so im thinking pointing downward from the PSU and dvd drives. anyother opinions for the last 12 that i have. they will all be on sitches to they can be turned on and off.

Do i decided to move things around and i will have room for a 120 up top instead of dual 92s. now my question. Whats the best way to cut a 4.5in circile w/o going to homedepot and spending $30 on a sawhole that i will only use once.

ok so i am thinking i am going to use jig saw and cut out the bulk of wat i want out. then file it down to the exact dementions i want. Sound good?

Cool site. I'm working on a mod for my case door and was wondering something about these LEDs. I'd like to replace the bland red / green stock ones with other ones. What does the forward voltage and reverse voltage mean? Which one should I be looking at if I want to run it off 5v or 12v?

Also, is there a standard voltage the mobo puts out on the connectors for HD / power LEDs? I'm guessing its probably 5v or something, I'll have to break out the multimeter and check.

Well i am going to tap into the 5v off the psu with a extrta fan connector. You have to get a resistor, i have no idea what is needed in that area, thats why my friend is going to wire all the lights for me. il going to learn how to do it. i think im going to do a worklog so i will let you know.

Cool, I'd like to see the log progress. After looking around a bit I found a downloadable LED calc. I guess the forward voltage is what you are tapping into on the PSU, 5 or 12. The calc tells you what resistor to get based on the LED and power source. Seems simple enough! I made a USB LED wand a while back and its all coming back to me. Just need to find out what's coming out of the mobo. It would be a whole lot easier to tap into those leads rather than having to mod a molex or use a fan connector or something.

yea im going to do a log. I need some help with how to cut the top 120 fan.. a jigsaw and a file sound good? is that the best way. i dont want to use a sawhole for the risk of messing up. anymore sugestions/opinons on this?

well yea i was going to clean it up with a dremel to, problem is i have a cheap imatation dremel so i cant use all the attachments just hte grinder

someone may have already posted this...
But instead of 2 x 92mm fans,
Why not go with 1 x 120mm high output fan, like a Panaflo 120mm 104CFM. It will move more air and be quiter

yea thats my plan but im going wiht my old stock 120mm for now but that is what im doing.
