Hello there. I'm looking for a ribbon cable, because I completely destroyed one that's vital to my audio system.

"Sumitomo-m * awm 2896 80c vw-1" is printed on the cable, and it's 16 pins.

As of yet I have been unable to locate an exact match. I don't care about length that much - just the longest one.
 
Is any of it intact enough to take a picture of what it looks like? Or at least the connectors it's going between? What is the brand of your audio system? What is the function of the cable? If you found the connector type, you could just make your own with wires.

Thanks for looking guys - I actually just managed to 'fix' it with a lot of glue, some plastic, and some tape. Basically the connector had frayed all to pieces and wouldn't plug properly.
