Well, after getting my BFG 6800 GT, I noticed things were getting a little hot in my comp, and LOUD. I have way to many fans now! So here is my plan....

I want to get that for now, and a block for my videocard when I have more money. Now how do you think all of that would fit in my preatorian mid tower case? Also, I currently have a Cooler Master HYPER 6 heatpipe cooler, do you think this would actually be an upgrade for my cpu?
 
Go with a setup that has at least a 120mm radiator. A single 80mm won't cool much at all.
 
A single 120 will move way more air than any dual 80 setup. unless ur running a real crappy 120. Of course dual 120 is an even better choice.

CHeck out the cfm (cubic feet of air per minute) rating on each fan ur looking at getting. Chances are a decent single 120 fan will have a fair bit more cfm than 2 80s. Since noise is also an issue, check the fans dba as well. No point in having a fan pulling huge air if you cant stand the damned thing.

As for the heatpipe cooler. It cant match a decent watersetup.
 
well, i'd like to chime in here...$160 is a lot for that setup...for just a block/pump/rad and some other stuff...i'm looking at like $150 for - cpu block/gpu block/pump/tubing/PVC res/heatercore, so i think you can do better...but if you want a kit, get that...its cheap and its not bad
 
that will blow the shit outta the HYTPER 6....i cant get my HYPER 6 to do shit for me in face it was the wrost 50 bucsk i spent in awhile.


PS. what r ur temps with the HYPER 6.
