but before i do that, does latest a04 revision fix all the problems or at least most of them? I'm also considering buying the soundbar that can be attached to the bottom of the monitor. I'm not a huge audiophile so the sound quality isn't very important. I would just like some comments on the soundbar. Also, what's the warranty for this monitor? If I buy with an Amex credit card, will I get that extra year of warranty?

I have the soundbar. I wanted it because i didn't want speakers on my desk space. It sounds pretty good, there is very little bass response, that's all. After a while i came across my old boston acoustics sound system from our old gateway with a sub, so i mounted the speakers underneath my desk and the subwoofer too and it sounds pretty sweet now.
But anyways, the sound bar is very acceptable form of audio, i played many a hour of oblivion with just it and was happy.
